CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHN] — A  Lincoln  Town  Car  driving on Eastern Parkway at full speed ended last night with several damaged cars, and 2 cars on fire. At around 2:35am the Shmira hotline received a call that a Lincoln Town Car had caught on fire after smashing in to five cars in front of 749 Eastern Parkway, between Kingston and Brooklyn.

The drunk driver got out of his car and started running towards Brooklyn Avenue, the bochurim who witnessed the incident immediately started chasing  after him to hold him for the police, the bochurim caught up with him on St. Johns Pl. and Brooklyn Ave.

Shmira and the Police were immediately called,  the driver was held till the police arrived, police arrived and placed the intoxicated driver under arrest and bought him back to the scene of the accident with charges pending for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.

The fire department was notified and responded to the scene of the accident and immediately put out the car fire.

BH there were no injuries.
