Teens Arrested For Weapons Cache Near Yeshiva
Two teens were arrested after a cache of weapons was found in a Lower East Side apartment.
Police were originally called to Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem K-12 school at 145 East Broadway for a report of two kids on an opposite roof with a rifle. As cops searched the area, a shot was fired. A custodian at PS 2, located around the corner, was hit with a BB gun.
Police found in the 2nd floor apartment two teens inside and a cache of weapons which included a blow dart gun, nun chucks, two BB rifles and knives. They were taken into custody.
