'Murdered and Also Inherited?'
The nerve! The father of the Islamist terrorist who murdered 3 children and a teacher is suing France over his son's "murder."
"Have you murdered and also inherited? (Elijah to King Ahab in I Kings 21:19)
French police are being sued by the father of Mohamed Merah, the Islamist terrorist who shot 3 Jewish children and a teacher, for his son's "murder."
"This is a suit against unnamed persons for murder with aggravating circumstances concerning those who gave the orders at the top of the police," said lawyers for Mohamed Benalel Merah, a resident of Algeria.
On March 19 his son drove up to the Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse on a Yamaha TMAX motorcycle and shot 30-year-old teacher Jonathan Sandler; his children Aryeh, aged 6, and Gabriel, aged 3; and the head teacher's daughter, 8-year-old Miriam Monsonego.
Bryan Bijaoui, a 17-year-old Jewish boy, was gravely injured in what was described as the worst school-related attack in French history.
The terrorist admitted anti semitic motivations, and said he attacked the Jewish school to avenge Palestinian children, stating "The Jews kill our brothers and sisters in Palestine."
After a 32-hour siege on his apartment, the murderer was shot dead. He had a bulletproof vest, components of Molotov cocktails and weapons parts stockpiled inside his apartment.
But that is not stopping his father from complaining why French authorities killed the Islamic terrorist rather than capture him.
"You've got 300 to 400 heavily armed people and a guy shut up all alone in his apartment. That alone is enough to raise questions," the father's lawyer Isabelle Coutant-Peyre was quoted by AFP news agency as saying.
Alain Juppe, who was France's foreign minister at the time of the attack, commented, "If I were the father of such a monster, I would shut my mouth in shame."
