Woman Killed in Bike Accident
The Jewish woman who was fatally struck by a truck while riding a bike on Empire Blvd. this afternoon was identified as 24 year-old Emma Blumstein.
A bicyclist was fatally struck by a truck in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn this afternoon.
At approximately 12:00, 24 year old Emma Blumstein, a student in Brooklyn, was hit by a flatbed truck while riding a bike at Bedford Avenue and Empire Blvd.
She succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chesed Shel Emes and NYPD Highway Accident Investigation Squad are on the scene.
