DA Hynes, NYPD Launch Investigations Into Crown Heights Beating; Officer Placed On Modified Duty
The Brooklyn district attorney’s office and the NYPD have launched separate investigations into the beating by two police officers of 21-year-old Ehud HaLevy at the Alternative Learning Institute for Young Adults in Crown Heights on October 8. A seven-minute surveillance video captured the assault.
